SAOTA Marks 40 Years with Major Exhibition Series Across China

SAOTA, a globally recognized architectural practice, is commemorating its 40th anniversary with an extensive exhibition series that is currently touring China. Developed in partnership with YARDCOM, the series aims to showcase the practice’s evolution over four decades, fostering cultural exchange and dialogue between South Africa and China through the medium of architecture and design.

Following its initial presentation at Milan Design Week, the exhibition commenced its journey in China at The Nest Art Centre in Shenzhen. It is scheduled to subsequently travel to Chengdu, offering a comprehensive exploration of SAOTA’s projects, foundational ideas, and the influences that have shaped its distinctive architectural approach.
