Visionnaire, a prominent Italian brand known for its luxury design and interior architecture, has announced a significant new collaboration aimed at integrating design principles with enhanced wellbeing and extended healthy lifespans. The initiative partners Visionnaire with The Longevity Suite, a network of biohacking and anti-ageing clinics, and the architectural studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture. This multifaceted project seeks to develop an integrated and scalable approach to “longevity-ready” design across various real estate sectors, including urban living, private residences, and wellness facilities.

The impetus for this collaboration stems from a growing global interest in not just living longer, but living healthier lives, a sentiment amplified by recent global health events. Leopoldo Cavalli, co-founder and CEO of Visionnaire, highlighted this trend, noting that developers and clients increasingly seek spaces that actively contribute to regeneration, long-term health, enhanced life expectancy, and enriching living experiences. This partnership aims to provide a forward-thinking model for the future of residential and hospitality design.

Por que importa

The project’s vision is materialized through several key components. A core element is the “Longevity Residence Building,” an innovative urban living model that redefines conventional apartment living. These residences will feature interiors furnished by a dedicated Visionnaire collection and will incorporate an on-site clinic operated by The Longevity Suite. The concept extends to private villas and other tailored homes, with meticulous attention paid to natural light, ventilation, acoustic comfort, and overall resident wellbeing. Specific design considerations include purified air, micro-filtered water with low mineral content, lighting calibrated to modulate energy and relaxation, and sound control for optimal sensory balance.

Beyond residential spaces, the initiative also encompasses Signature Wellness Spas, building on The Longevity Suite’s existing portfolio, and new home wellness systems designed for large private residences.

Contexto

Initial projects under this collaboration include the development of two private villas: a 1,500 sq m property in Cairo and a 1,200 sq m residence in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Further developments are planned, including a residential tower in Warsaw, Poland, and a project on the Croatian island of Lopud, pending final approvals.

Luca Dini Design & Architecture is tasked with translating the project’s underlying philosophy into tangible architectural forms. CEO Luca Dini emphasized the challenge of imbuing each building, whether a villa or a tower, with a distinct identity and a façade that visually communicates concepts related to human wellbeing and longevity.

Inspiration for the architectural designs draws heavily from nature and light. Dini described the concept for the Warsaw tower, which features vertical glass panels with integrated solar cells. These panels not only filter light but also generate energy, drawing a parallel to the function of a leaf, which filters air, captures light, and produces energy—a balance the architecture aims to embody. The design prioritizes natural light to support residents’ circadian rhythms.

The façade is conceived as an integral part of a flexible and customizable architectural system. Automated brise-soleils will allow for the adjustment of light filtration, adapting to different functional needs and the time of day. Greenery is also integrated as an active element, serving not only aesthetic purposes but also as a botanical air-filtration system. Through these design strategies, the project aims to move beyond mere aesthetics to create environments that actively support the health and longevity of their inhabitants.
